Starý Smokovec is located only 300 meters from Poľana. From Poľana, you can walk to Starý Smokovec in 10 minutes. From there, you can hike to Sliezsky dom or Zamkovského chata chalets or try a more challenging hike to Slavkovský štít.
Tatranská Lomnica is located 1.5 km from the pension Karpatia. Tatranská Lomnica is a good starting point for a hike to Skalnaté pleso, Skalnatá chata or you can take the cableway to Lomnický štít.

Belianska jaskyňa is a cave which used to be a popular gold-digging site in the first half of the 18th century. It is located in the eastern part of the Tatras National Park called Belianske Tatry.
It is probably the most famous aqua park in Slovakia. You can enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, massages, saunas, cryocenter, and water slides.

Kids and the Tatras
Do you know what the Tibet Bridge is? It is one of the twenty rope obstacles that can be found in the Rope Park near Aqua City Poprad.

Children will have so much fun in Maxiland park. Professional ski instructors will teach them to ski using games and animation program. Transport belt and ski equipment rental are available.
You can easily spend the entire afternoon here, it’s the largest castle in Europe! Medieval kitchen exhibition is especially worth a visit.

Skiing and snowboarding
One of the best slopes in Slovakia. Ski down from 2196 m through Lomnické sedlo to Tatranská Lomnica on a 5.5 km slope.

Two and a half kilometers of pure joy. A sledding track will take you from Hrebienok to Starý Smokovec. Just a stone's throw away from pension Poľana.
There are several well-preserved cross-country skiing trails available in High Tatras, e.g. Starý Smokovec and its surroundings (17.7 km) or Štrbské pleso and its surroundings (26.5 km).
